At Irvine, the 20 January 1636
John Reid, merchant burgess of Irvine produced a Renunciation to be registered in the Ayr Sasine Register
It was made by Issobell MkMath (sic), relict of Alexander Neisbit of Greneholme, with consent of Jonet, Agnes and Issobell Neisbits, her daughters and apparent heirs portioner and with the consent of George Neisbit, son to the deceased Hew Neisbit in Nevoklaw, spouse to Jonet for his interest. A contract of alienation had been made between James Neisbit fiar of Greneholme and Alexander Neisbit and Issobell McMath, who was then Alexander’s future spouse, at Newmylne on the 13 April 1613 of his forty shilling lands of old extent of Greneholme, lying in the Bailliary of Kyle Stewart and Sheriffdom of Ayr. The alienation was granted to them both in conjunct fee and then was to go their heirs, whom failing to William Neisbit, son of the said deceased Alexander. The lands were redeemable from Alexander and his heirs for 3,000 merks Scots.
James Neisbit, son and heir of the deceased Alexander Neisbit had now paid Issobell McMath the sum of 1,000 merks Scots and she therefore renounced her and her daughters’ claim to the property
Made at Newmylne and Loudoun on the 19 December 1635 and witnessed by Andro Lokhart in Newmylne, Mungow Campbell, notary in Machline, George Neisbit in Dyk, Alexander Neisbit in Nevoklaw and Colene Campbell in Newmylne. Issobell McMath, her daughters and her son-in-law could not sign their names and so their hands were led at the pen by the notary.

It had been made by Jonet Walker relict of William Muckill in Tulloch with advise and consent of her eldest son, John Muckill and (blank) Muckle (sic) his spouse.
A contract of alienation had been drawn up on the (blank) February 1620 between Alexander Neisbit of Greinholme and his spouse, Issobell McMath and William Muckle elder in Tulloch and Jonet Walker, his spouse, whereby Alexander Neisbit had alienated the two merklands of Tulloch of old extent, then occuped by the said William Muckle and his spouse, lying in the Bailliary of Kyle Stewart and Sheriffdom of Ayr to them. A charter containing a precept of sasine in their names had then followed. The lands were redeemable for £700.
Issobell McMath had later made James Neisbit ‘now of Greinholme’, eldest son of the deceased Alexander Neisbit of Greinholme her cessioner and assignee with the consent of Jonet, Agnes and Issobell, her daughters and George Neisbit, son of the deceased Hew Neisbit in Newiklaw, spouse to Jonet for his interest. James Neisbit had then repaid Jonet Walker ‘certane great sowmes of money and so had redeemed the property.
Jonet Walker therefore had a precept of sasine to that effect drawn up in which she promised to return all the writs and evidents to James Neisbit and appointed James Massoun, wobster in Newmilne as her baillie. It was made at Tulloch on the 2 December 1636 and witnessed by John Lambie of Croftheid, George Lambie in Preistland, Alexander Muckle in Merdrisub?, John Muckle son to John Muckle here and Hew Gibbersoun in Tulloch

On the 8 December 1646, Adam Mure, acting as attorney for MARIE KENNEDY, eldest daughter of the deceased JAMES KENNEDY of BLAQUHYNE, presented a precept of sasine which had been granted by JAMES Neibit of GREINHOLME in her favour, following on a contract of marriage which had been drawn up between JAMES Neisbit and MARIE KENNEDY on the 6 December instant.
In the precept of sasine, JAMES Neisbit had appointed Duncan Tosache, servitor to John Campbell, Lord Glenurquhy to act as his baillie to give sasine to MARIE KENNEDY of her liferent out of his 40 shilling lands of AUCHINRUGLAND; his 20 shilling lands of GREINHOLME and his 20 shillings and 4 penny lands of TULLOCHE, then occupied by John Patersone and other tenants, all lying in the parish of GALSTOUNE, bailliary of Kylestewart and Sheriffdom of AYR. The precept had been written at Newmylne on the 8 December 1646 by William Mitchell, writer and common clerk of Ayr and witnessed by Charles Lyall, notary in Newmylne, Adam Mure, servitor to the said Lady Margaret Campbell, the said William Mitchell and George Campbell in Calsayheid of Loudoune.
