We welcome all Society Nesbitt/Nisbets of all spellings to join us for a weekend of fun and fellowship with Society members and their families.
For over 50 years, Scotland has been coming to Georgia with the Stone Mountain Highland Games and Scottish Festival. The meadows and meandering tree-lined paths of Stone Mountain Park will be transformed for the weekend of October 19 and 20, 2024 into the impressive mix of sights and sounds of a Scottish Highland Games presented in a uniquely southern style.
One of the premier Scottish festivals in the US, Stone Mountain will be featuring colorful pipe bands, Scottish Athletics, Piping and Drumming competitions, Highland dancers competing before judges of worldwide renown, Country Dancing, Scottish Harping and Fiddling. Scottish foods and drink, clan tents and vendors selling lovely goods imported from the British Isles, and Celtic performers are also a part of this traditional gathering.

Come stay with us at the Holiday Inn Atlanta-Northlake, 2158 Ranchwood Drive, NE, Atlanta. The hotel is only a short 15-minunte drive from Stone Mountain Park. We expect to have a block of rooms at a discounted price for our members and their guests. More information on our N/N Society booking prices to come later. Don your tartans if you have them and join us. No tartan? That's OK too! EVERYONE can be Scottish for the special weekend celebration.
After your check-in on Friday, join us in the Holiday Inn's lobby at 4:00 PM for a Meet 'n Greet and to hand out Goodie Bags. The AGM's dinner and business meeting will begin at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Holiday Inn's Conference Room. You will receive an update soon with more details on the weekend activities, dinner menu, and additional booking and registration details. This year, your Goodie Bag, filled with N/N Society products, is free to all members who register in advance and dinner for children 12 and under is free. The AGM business meeting and election will be live streamed via Zoom so that members who can't attend in person can still participate.
So, mark your calendar for October 18 – 20 and start making plans to join us.
